Details: Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery AdminBASIC FUNCTION:The Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Administrator will assist in the development of business continuance scenarios, contingency and disaster recovery plans for central and distributed systems and networks to maintain operations during downtime and/or major disasters. This role will develop and implement policies and procedures for business continuance and disaster recovery as well as test designated plans with various operational and support groups. Detailed DescriptionJOB DUTIES: Conduct and document Business Impact Analysis to map business functions to determine financial and qualitative impacts of a business disruption. Ability to analyze applications to ascertain the need or level of BC/DR to meet business requirements. Develop and implement Business Continuity Plans for each business group at GM Financial. Develop and implement Disaster Recovery Plans with IT. Ensure that Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans are reviewed on a regular basis. Coordinate and conduct testing of designated plans on a regular basis. Confirm categories of systems and applications. Establish Recovery Time Objectives (RTO). Establish Recovery Point Objectives (RPO). Prioritize recovery based on business requirements. Complete a system inter-dependency mapping of all company systems to develop and document recovery requirements.
