Senior Certification & Accreditation Analyst

Details: Job Responsibilities:General Dynamics Information Technology is looking for Certification and Accreditation analysts to provide support to AFNIC for the AFNet Integration Support program. AFNIC requires a wide range of C&A and Information Assurance expertise to assist AFNIC in the AFNet Integration process and in maintaining an effecient and effective office supporting C&A activities across the Air Force. The AFNet Integration effort will perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.As a Senior C&A analyst, job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:• Providing C&A analysis and processing packages for systems seeking a UIAR • Guiding customers in their efforts to complete all actions necessary to complete UIAR submissions. • Researching, analyzing, and providing recommendations to the AF-CA for use by customers.• Ensuring customers understand the latest processes affecting certification and accreditation of their systems.• Guiding the customers in their efforts to complete the DIACAP and attaining an accreditation decision for their systems• Processing/analyzing information in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) or current C&A Workflow tool. • Providing guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technical staff members.• Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.• Participating in special projects as required. Required Education:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience. Required Work Experience:Minimum of 5 years of certification and accrediatation (C&A) experience required.Certification: Minimum of DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level III Certification Minimum of GSLC, GISM or CISSP with CISSP certification preferred Other Desirable Requirements:Secret Clearance PreferredAs a minimum must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. Interim Secret is acceptable.
