Details: Senior Intelligence Analyst – Targeting & Insurgent Networks - TS/SCI (SA) USIS has upcoming openings for experienced Senior Intelligence Analysts – All-Source to support one of our DOD clients. Positions are based in Charlottesville, VA , Ft Belvoir, VA and other Northern VA/ Washington DC metro area locations but requires a 6 month rotational deployment in Afghanistan or Iraq **This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance. Candidates who do not currently hold this level of clearance will not be considered. Overview: Potential candidates should be able to perform the functions of a Senior Analyst and Identifies new networks and targets on which to focus analytic efforts. The SA produces intelligence assessments for formal production and release to the Intelligence Community (IC) and other consumers. Coordinates with other NGIC offices, IC organizations and theater intelligence resources to gather additional information and share analytic conclusions. The senior analyst is capable of deployment throughout theater of operation to conduct counterinsurgent and IED network analysis. Multiple Positions available: Journeyman Intelligence Analyst: minimum 5 years Intel analysis and targeting experience required. Senior Intelligence Analyst: 8 years Intel and targeting experience required. Bachelors degree preferred. (degree may be waived in lieu of additional experience) Principal Intelligence Analyst: 10 years Intel and targeting experience required. Bachelors degree preferred. (degree may be waived in lieu of additional experience) Senior Principal Intelligence Analyst: 12+ years Intel and targeting experience required. Bachelors degree preferred. (degree may be waived in lieu of additional experience) Job Responsibilities: • Potential candidates should be able to perform the functions of a Senior Analyst and Identify new networks and targets on which to focus analytic efforts.. • Prepare in-depth intelligence reports for senior officials and military services, brief senior officials, provide reports and input to intelligence community products directed toward the highest levels. • Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, research, analysis, database input, briefing and report production; use of established databases for research and production; function as a subject matter expert on assigned areas of operations. • All candidates should have knowledge of the principles, concepts and techniques of general military intelligence and provide expert analysis with experience in one or more of the following areas: All source analytical products; Link and nodal diagrams; Network and Social Network Framework; High Value Individual (HVI) Targeting; Counter-Insurgent Methodology; Geospatial Analytical Products; Periodic Database Reports; Briefings; Biometrics analysis; IED and other improvised device types; characteristics and employment TTP; Trends and Pattern Analysis; Special Operations Planning and Targeting • Background in counter-terrorism, counter insurgency, or counter IED analysis and experience as an intelligence or targeting analyst in Afghanistan is desired. • Knowledgeable of the Intelligence Cycle, Collection Management Cycle, Targeting Cycle and intelligence analytic techniques including trend and pattern analysis, geospatial analysis, link analysis and network or social network analysis. • Experienced with data processing systems such as DCGS-A, CIDNE, and SIPRNET and JWICS search engines. • Working knowledge of i2 Analyst Notebook, AXIS Pro, WebTAS, ArcGIS, and Google Earth. • Proficient at using basic computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development; possess strong research and writing skills; and be capable of effectively operating alone in support of tactical, strategic and special operations forces conducting counter insurgent/IED targeting. • Train and mentor junior analysts to prepare them for deployment. • Understand intelligence requirements for both lethal and non-lethal targeting.Company Overview USIS, an Altegrity company, is a leading federal security solution provider that supports National Security initiatives around the globe for over 15 years with more than 6,600 employees working in all 50 states and overseas.
