Details: Job Responsibilities:Performs data analysis, interpretation and management duties. Develops rules and methodologies for data collection and analysis.Performs data collection, analysis, interpretation and management duties to include developing iDashboard and analyzing reports for new system onsite at DAU, Fort Belvoir, VA.Develops rules and methodologies for data collection and analysis.Ensures the integrity of project data, including data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing and analysis.Consults with the external clients and internal staff to determine data management needs and objectives.May be responsible for database design, administration, security, and maintenance.Prepares presentations that reflect the results of the data analysis. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Required Education:Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science, Statistics or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Required Work Experience:5-8 years of related statistics/data analysis experience.SSRS experience as this will be the reporting tool that will be in the Student Information System (SIS). Other Desirable Requirements:Translate functional requirement received from stakeholders into technical specifications to be passed to the extraction, transformation and load (ETL) data warehouse teamDevelop reports for the Student Information System (SIS)Develop dashboards using DAU's iDashboard software for both the SIS requirements and other PRM requirements, as requestedReview current inventory of reportsInterview and capture requirements from SIS stakeholders for business intelligence and reporting needsDevelop requirements definition of a data warehouse and business intelligence project to capture the needs of the Student Information System (SIS) stakeholdersAnalyze requirements to propose strategy for meeting requirements among different options that include: smart search capability, reports, and dashboards
