Details: The City of Spring Hill is accepting applications for the following positions: PUBLIC WORKS CREW MEMBER. (FULL TIME, NON-EXEMPT) This employee will perform duties including, but not limited to, safe operation of the Dump Truck, Back Hoe, Mini Excavator, Skid Steer, weed eaters, Bush Hog equipment and Chipper. Applicant must possess ability to perform water line repairs as well as use all types of hand tools. Must also possess a TN CDL (Commercial Driver's License) or equivalent. (FULL TIME, NON-EXEMPT) The City of Spring Hill will conduct examinations for full time police officers. POST certification required. Applicant must possess a TN CDL or equivalent, as well as Level 1 EPSC Erosion Prevention Specialist Certification by the State of TN or equivalent. Supervisory experience required. UTILITY DIRECTOR/ASSISTANT CITY ADMINISTRATOR. (FULL TIME, EXEMPT) This employee will be under the direct supervision of the City Administrator. Administrative and managerial work is performed in the planning, organizing, and directing of overall operations amongst the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants; the Water Distribution, Sewer Collection, MS4/Stormwater, and Streets/Maintenance Divisions. This employee must possess the ability to make prudent and independent decisions as they apply to daily activities. The incumbent in this position will supervise assigned employees; coordinate activities between departments, and maintain records and budgets for various projects. The Utility Director/Assistant City Administrator provides substantive and highly complex staff assistance to the City Administrator. The employee will perform other related and/or non-specific work as required, some of which will be mechanical. B.S in Engineering, P.E. licensure REQUIRED. 10 years of experience in water or wastewater system maintenance or construction, hydraulic or civil engineering preferred. Increasingly responsive administrative or supervisor work also preferred, but not required. Minimum Starting Pay $60,000-$75,000.
