Lead Networthiness Engineer

Details: Job Responsibilities:General Dynamics Information Technology is looking for Certification and Accreditation analysts to provide support to AFNIC for the AFNet Integration Support program. AFNIC requires a wide range of C&A and Information Assurance expertise to assist AFNIC in the AFNet Integration process and in maintaining an effecient and effective office supporting C&A activities across the Air Force. The AFNet Integration effort will perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.As the Lead Networthiness Engineer, job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:• Performing Networthiness assessments, draft assessment documents, reports, briefings, and other correspondence;• Interacting and corresponding with action officers, end users, and staff to identify and clarify Networthiness and Information Assurance (IA) requirements to ensure output products and deliverables are complete and comply with standard operating procedures. • Performing consultations on programmatic documents as related to established Networthiness criteria and determine appropriate courses of action to achieve Networthiness from security, sustainability, and supportability aspects as well as other special interest items based upon DoD and AF guidance. • Managing a technical team performing the responsibilities outlined about• Participating in special projects• Maintaining currency in applicable technologies and Air Force policies Required Education:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience. Required Work Experience:Minimum of 5 years of professional experpience in analyzing and defining information security requirement/solutions and conducting IT risk assessmentsFamiliarity with DoD systems acquisition process including the Business Capability Lifecycle (BCL) and the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development system (JCIDS).Familiarity with the Air Force developed networthiness criteria. Experience with Information Security, Information Security Risks, Information Technology Risk Assessment Methodologies, and analystical report writing.Minimum of 5 years experience managing technical personnelCertification: Minimum of DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level III Certification Minimum of GSLC, GISM or CISSP with CISSP certification preferred Other Desirable Requirements:Secret Clearance PreferredAs a minimum must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. Interim Secret is acceptable.
